The Center at Tucson is looking to hire a CNA/Shower Aide now!
Shift Availability: Full time, Monday-Friday, anticipated hours of 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility.
Pay: $16-20/hour, dependent on experience.
Job Description: Provide each patient with routine bathing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting for duty.
- Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
- Complete daily showers for patients.
- Document care and patient refusals.
- Maintain intake and output records as instructed.
- Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears.

Education, licensure, certifications, and experience:
- Must possess a current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC).
- Must possess a current and valid C.N.A. license.
- Must possess a current and valid CPR certification.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- 1 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
Salary : $16 - $20
