What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Management Associate position at Veritas Partners?
As a Real Estate Associate, you will support our operational, strategic, and investment decisions by:
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, rent rolls, and capital expenditure budgets.
- Researching and evaluating economic, demographic and real estate market data.
- Leading conference calls and on-site meetings with property management partners.
- Conducting property site inspections and market tours (travel may be required).
- Creating financial analyses, including operating budgets, cash flow projections, and investment return calculations.
- Creating memos for presentation to senior personnel.
- Coordinating/managing due diligence review and closing process for various transactions.
- Assisting with arranging and closing debt financing.
- Presenting property performance to the entire firm quarterly.
- Working closely with multiple property management teams to implement and manage business plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials, with preference for majors in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or Property Management.
- 3 to 7 years relevant experience (including internships) working in real estate asset management.
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong proficiency with Excel.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
