Proposal Manager

Veritas is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to own our responses to RFx responses, from opportunity identification through final submission. You will interpret customer requirements, shape bid strategy, and coordinate contributors across the business to deliver compliant, compelling proposals on time. 

As a Proposal Manager, you will work closely with Sales, Product, Operations and Compliance teams to translate complex customer needs across healthcare, life sciences, health plans, public health, financial services, and insurance into clear, structured responses that show how Veritas offerings solve their problem. You'll also build and maintain our proposal content library, run a repeatable proposal process, and help Veritas win more of the right business. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own the end-to-end proposal process for RFx responses and unsolicited proposals, from go/no-go decision through final submission. 
• Analyze solicitation documents and customer requirements, build compliance matrices, and translate customer needs into structured, persuasive responses. 
• Develop proposal schedules, assign sections and reviewers, and coordinate cross-functional contributors to meet every deadline. 
• Partner with Sales leadership to define and implement bid strategy, win themes, and competitive positioning for each opportunity. 
• Lead review cycles and resolve conflicting input, ensuring responses are accurate, consistent, and aligned with customer requirements and Veritas standards. 
• Build and maintain a proposal content library of approved answers, product descriptions, case studies, and boilerplate, keeping it current as products and policies change. 
• Track the proposal pipeline, outcomes, and win/loss feedback, and use the findings to improve content, process, and win rates. 
• Source and qualify new bid opportunities by monitoring procurement portals, public sector tender sites, and industry networks, and build and maintain a pipeline of potential bids in partnership with Sales. 

Key Skills 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal management, bid management, or RFP response, ideally in B2B data, SaaS, or healthcare. 
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain technical and data concepts clearly to commercial, clinical, and procurement audiences. 
• Strong project management skills, with a proven record of delivering multiple proposals to fixed deadlines. 
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and to balance competing stakeholder priorities. 
• Experience responding to public sector solicitations (e.g., state and federal agencies) is a plus. 
• Experience with RFP management tools (e.g., Loopio, Responsive) and CRM or project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com).
