What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Business Development position at Veritas Data Research?
We’re hiring a Director, Business Development at Veritas Data Research.
Our Fact of Death Mortality Index helps organizations know, accurately and quickly, whether an individual is alive. Since then we’ve grown from a single dataset into a platform covering mortality, cause of death, verification and monitoring, and provider data. We’ve grown fast and profitably, which means we can keep investing in new products, and that gives a salesperson more to sell every year.
How we work matters as much as what we build:
- We’re direct and precise. We define terms, measure carefully and check our numbers before we quote them. Customers notice this.
- We take mortality seriously. Every record behind our data is an individual, and we treat that with care.
- Ownership is clear. Every initiative has a named owner with real decision rights, so good ideas move quickly.
- We earn the right to grow. New work is funded by a strong core business, and we stay disciplined as we scale.
There’s room to build pipeline across pharma, medical device, clinical trials, government, registries and providers. We’re open on how you get there:
- A specialist with deep relationships in one of these sectors. If you know a market inside out and have a network to match, we’d be especially keen to talk.
- A new-business builder who thrives on opening doors, working across sectors and creating pipeline from a standing start.
Either way, you’ll sell a multi-product portfolio directly and through marketplace and channel partners. You’ll take deals from first conversation through to close and renewal, and bring what you hear in the market back to the team so it shapes what we build next.
If you’re entrepreneurial, understand how healthcare procurement works and lead with integrity, you’ll fit here.
