Our client, a boutique public accounting firm in the Rosemont area, is looking to add an Audit Senior to their team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with 2–5 years of public accounting audit experience who is looking for hands-on exposure, direct client interaction, and the ability to grow quickly within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held clients
- Work directly with clients to gather financial information and support engagement needs
- Prepare workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentation
- Identify and communicate accounting or operational issues during engagements
- Collaborate with seniors, managers, and partners throughout the engagement process
- Develop an understanding of client operations and industry-specific accounting practices
- Participate in client meetings and continue building professional communication skills
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of audit experience within public accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Experience within the construction and/or real estate industries is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
While public accounting is often associated with burnout, this firm takes a different approach and prioritizes maintaining a healthy workload so employees can continue providing high-quality service. Staff rarely exceed 50 hours per week, even during peak busy season periods.
