The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for leading project meetings, gathering business requirements, and translating them into technical and automated workflow solutions across clinical and ancillary departments. The role focuses heavily on implementation support for EMRs and third-party clinical applications used in hospitals and clinics, including systems such as Epic, Athena, Cerner, Sectra, Waystar, Capsule, Softbank, and applications supporting Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology.

The analyst provides operational advisory, system administration support, and collaborates with customers to enhance workflows, documentation, and implementation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Lead project meetings with core leadership teams to collect comprehensive business requirements.
• Translate requirements into automated workflow and technical design documents.
• Develop workflow process flows, technical requirements, and system enhancement recommendations.
• Produce project documentation including project charters, status reports, meeting minutes, and agendas.
  
  

Implementation & System Support

• Support implementation and integration of EMRs and clinical applications across hospital and clinic environments.
• Assist end users with system operations, administration, and optimization activities.
• Work closely with facility host support teams, application vendors, and technical departments.
• Provide advisory services to enhance clinical and operational workflows.
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with clinicians, leadership, IT teams, and departmental stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and end users.
• Provide clear communication in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Associate Degree required (submit proof).
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare provider experience (hospitals/clinics only).
• Strong background in EMR implementations including:
• Epic, Athena, Cerner (modules and ancillary areas)
• Experience implementing and supporting third-party hospital apps:
• Sectra, Softbank, Waystar, Capsule, and other Lab/Pharmacy/Radiology applications.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and workflow analysis skills.
• Experience producing detailed project documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in hospital/clinic environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional IT and clinical teams.
