Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions
- Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments
- Assist physicians in developing and implementing care plans
- Perform patient assessments and diagnostic procedures
- Operate and maintain ventilators and life-support systems
- Manage airway care, resuscitation, and emergency interventions
- Monitor patient response and adjust treatments accordingly
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in patient care planning and clinical discussions
- Support continuity of care across departments
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols
- Complete required orientation and training programs
- Education meeting certification/licensure requirements
- Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (required at hire)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
