Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 leadership and management of the Labor & Delivery unit
- Ensure patient care meets established clinical standards and safety guidelines
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and team members
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily operational workflows
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and leadership to improve patient outcomes
- Monitor and enhance patient satisfaction and quality metrics
- Support continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain effective communication across departments
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) - Required
- Active RN License - State of Nevada (or eligible)
- Minimum:
- 2 years clinical nursing experience
- 1-2 years progressive leadership/management experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
