Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare staff
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Active RN License in the state of New Mexico
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience
- 1 year of overall nursing experience
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Active RN License (New Mexico)
- BLS Certification (required)
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC (within 6 months of hire)
- Hospital / Acute Care setting
