Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams including engineers, project managers, and technical specialists
- Drive the development and management of multi-year budgets with a focus on cost control and financial transparency
- Oversee creation, review, and approval of detailed project documentation and technical specifications
- Evaluate technical options, analyze risk, and recommend strategic solutions to optimize outcomes
- Report project status, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner
- Implement scalable work processes, tools, and governance frameworks to improve execution and efficiency
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with contractors, partners, and customers
- Ensure projects align with DOT design standards, regulatory compliance, and internal engineering standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering, project management, project controls, or commercial operations within the oil and gas industry
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- PE License and/or PMP Certification
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Oracle Applications
- Experience with Power BI for analytics and reporting
- Strong understanding of DOT design standards and engineering best practices
- Previous leadership roles managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects
- Experience working with combined cycle power generation systems
