Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) activities and maintain PM logs.
- Inspect, dismantle, and rebuild machines and equipment as needed.
- Identify root causes of malfunctions through visual inspection, testing, and PLC diagnostics.
- Replace or repair defective parts using tools, machining, and welding techniques.
- Calibrate, test, and reassemble machinery after repair.
- Use and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to identify issues and perform logic-based troubleshooting.
- Modify PLC programs and input/output configurations when required.
- Interpret ladder logic and electrical schematics.
- Operate metalworking equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, etc.) for fabrication or repairs.
- Develop and follow facility maintenance programs to prevent equipment downtime.
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Maintain safe work practices and comply with all Bridgestone Golf safety standards.
- Handle hazardous materials and tools responsibly.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, and handle tools.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 60 lbs.
- Work in noisy, temperature-variable environments (seasonally hot/cold).
- Must be available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
