Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership for Cardiovascular Services / Cath Lab, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
- Lead and support multidisciplinary teams including nursing, technologists, physicians, and support staff.
- Build strong working relationships with surgeons and anesthesia providers to maintain excellent collaboration and service delivery.
- Drive department performance including quality outcomes, throughput, patient experience, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and clinical best practices.
- Lead staffing, training, performance management, and professional development initiatives across the department.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in strategic planning, program growth, and service line development activities.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (required)
- Current West Virginia RN License (or eligible for WV licensure) (required)
- 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in Cardiovascular Services (required)
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships with:
- Surgeons
- Anesthesia providers
- BLS required (or obtained within defined timeframe)
- ACLS required (or obtained within defined timeframe)
- Cath Lab leadership experience in a high-volume cardiovascular program
- Experience with service line growth, physician engagement, and performance improvement initiatives
