• Full-Time (Hospital Schedule)
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• Floating: Mission Viejo & Laguna Facility
  
  

The Medical Social Worker (MSW) is responsible for supporting patients and families through care coordination, discharge planning, and psychosocial assessments in an acute care setting.

This role requires strong clinical judgment and experience managing patient caseloads.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) - Required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Travel experience required (No first-time travelers - HARD STOP)
• Strong knowledge of care coordination and discharge planning
• Ability to manage caseload of 20-23 patients
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospital case management or social services
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Familiarity with hospital workflows and patient advocacy

• Acute Care Hospital
• Case Management / Social Services Department
• Onsite role in Mission Viejo, CA
• Patient Caseload: 20-23 patients
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Must be comfortable floating to Laguna facility
• RTO Restriction: Maximum 7 days
• Dress Code: Turquoise scrubs
• License: Not required at submission, must be active by start date if applicable
• Must comply with all clinical and regulatory standards
