This role involves caring for adult patients, supervising support staff, and ensuring adherence to clinical and regulatory standards in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide nursing care to assigned Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications
- Deliver safe and effective patient-centered care
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to care standards
- Support adult patient populations
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and other staff
- Act as charge nurse when assigned
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Follow documentation and reporting protocols
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Active Illinois RN License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)

- Experience in Med/Surg adult patient care
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital settings
