This role oversees plant operations across multiple shifts, drives operational excellence, ensures food safety compliance, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations & Leadership
- Oversee full plant operations including production, maintenance, and logistics
- Manage operations across three production shifts
- Ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Monitor incoming and outgoing product quality
- Maintain sanitation, safety, and operational standards
- Analyze cost and performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
- Implement best practices across production and operations
- Lead and manage multiple teams across departments
- Drive talent mapping, succession planning, and retention strategies
- Mentor managers and enhance workforce capability
- Oversee shipping, receiving, scheduling, and inventory management
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth operations
- 8 years of experience in food processing / meat industry
- Strong experience in plant operations and production management
- Experience managing multi-shift operations
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Knowledge of food safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related field
- Experience in pork or meat processing industry
