Supports Cardiology applications and imaging systems
Works closely with clinical teams and IT stakeholders
The IT Specialist supports and manages Cardiology IT systems and applications, ensuring system performance, reliability, and integration across clinical environments. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system implementation, and project support, ensuring seamless technology operations for patient care and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Support & Troubleshooting
Provide Tier 3 application support for Cardiology systems
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement corrective actions
Monitor system performance and ensure uptime
Application & Systems Management
Support Cardiology IT applications (e.g., imaging, diagnostics systems)
Configure, install, and enhance system functionality
Maintain system documentation and change management processes
Project & Implementation Support
Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and validate outcomes
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during rollouts
Integration & Development
Support interfaces and integration (HL7, DICOM, EMR systems like EPIC)
Develop or modify scripts, interfaces, and workflows
Ensure compatibility with enterprise systems
User Support & Training
Provide technical guidance and training to clinical end users
Support adoption of new technologies and system updates
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain project plans, documentation, and system logs
Provide reports and updates to stakeholders
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in Clinical IT / Healthcare IT
Strong knowledge of:
Operating systems (Windows, UNIX)
Databases (Oracle, SQL)
Programming (C , Java, Python, etc.)
Experience with:
HL7, DICOM, EPIC or similar EMR systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Cardiology IT systems:
