Hiring ICU Registered Nurses (ICU RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Telemetry environment. The RN will deliver direct nursing care consistent with CVMC standards of practice and AACN guidelines, supporting critically ill patients through comprehensive monitoring, assessment, intervention, and coordination with interdisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU/Telemetry setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals, cardiac rhythms, lab values, and clinical condition changes
• Administer medications, IV drips, blood products, and other treatments per protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot critical care equipment (IV pumps, ventilators, monitors, etc.)
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document all patient care in the EMR accurately and timely
• Educate patients and family members on plan of care and treatment expectations
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional nursing standards
  
  

Must-Have Requirements

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) - Required

License: Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License - Required

Experience: 1-2 years of RN experience required (ICU/Telemetry preferred)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Prior ICU, Critical Care, or Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS certification (if not required, highly preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and rapid response ability in acute settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
