Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and clinical leadership for the ICU ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered critical care delivery.
- Build, develop, and lead teams focused on quality improvement initiatives, performance metrics, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, nursing teams, physicians, and interdisciplinary departments to meet ICU goals and standards.
- Monitor ICU performance, compliance, staffing, workflows, and efficiency; implement improvements to optimize care delivery and outcomes.
- Support strategic planning and quality initiatives aligned with hospital objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen communication, engagement, accountability, and staff development within the ICU team.
- Facilitate collaboration and relationships with providers/physicians to support high-quality critical care services.
- Ensure initiatives focused on clinical excellence, operational improvement, and patient safety are executed effectively.
- Active (or eligible) New Mexico RN License (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required)
- 7 years of healthcare experience
- 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience working in a for-profit hospital environment (strongly preferred)
- Proven experience building and leading teams focused on quality initiatives
- Strong clinical leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Advanced degree strongly preferred:
