Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level Cardiovascular MRI imaging procedures independently with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure proper positioning, image acquisition, and post-processing for optimal diagnostic outcomes.
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment and software, ensuring readiness and functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols for magnetic resonance imaging, especially cardiac-specific safety procedures.
- Support physicians with advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac imaging procedures.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to CMRI Technologist I staff and imaging students.
- Monitor patient condition and comfort during procedures and communicate effectively with care teams.
- Participate in research initiatives and imaging protocol optimization.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Document exams accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience, with at least 1 year in Cardiac MRI (CMRI)
- Prior experience in Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonography preferred
- Required Certifications:
- One of the following:
- ARRT RT(MR)
- ARMRIT
- ARDMS ARMRIT
- CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient communication and team collaboration
- Calm, professional demeanor in high-stress clinical situations
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong clinical judgment
