Key Responsibilities
Engineering Design & Development
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects (roads, drainage, utilities, etc.)
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Review plans and ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Monitor project progress and assist with resolving issues
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Perform engineering calculations and data analysis
- Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies
- Identify risks and recommend solutions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist in permit applications and approvals
- Support environmental and safety compliance efforts
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations
- Maintain accurate records of project activities
- Support audits and inspections
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3 years of civil engineering experience
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards
- Experience with AutoCAD / Civil 3D or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (Preferred)
- Experience in public works or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
