Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance worker to join our team in Wapakoneta, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of outdoor areas including lawns, gardens, walkways, and other landscaped spaces.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, and edge lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
• Plant, water, fertilize, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as weeding, mulching, and pruning.
• Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Remove debris, trash, and litter from outdoor areas.
• Maintain walkways, driveways, and parking lots by clearing snow, ice, leaves, and other obstructions.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow plowing.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plant care and landscaping techniques.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
