What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane Operator (Grapple) position at Venture Metals INC.?
Venture Metals is a fast-growing, metal recycling company looking to grow our team with a Crane Operator (Grapple Cranes) at our Houston Location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate scrap Grapple cranes to load and unload trucks and containers.
- Use crane to move materials throughout facility/yard.
- Recognize and remove contaminating materials.
- Recognize and separate different grades of scrap.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating Grapple cranes.
- Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; climb; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, work outdoors & exposed to all weather elements.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Please note you WILL work outdoors. You must be able to work under the elements.

Salary : $20 - $23
