Commercial Support Administrator

Venture Metals  is a fast-growing, metal recycling company looking to expand our Commercial team with a driven, dynamic, and detail orientated Commercial Support Administrator.

This position requires a candidate with at least two years of verifiable office experience. The candidate must be eager and willing to quickly learn all aspects of this support role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable/ Receivable, Purchase Orders
• Strong background in inventory transactions *
• Coordinate delivery of material from offsite locations to processing facilities nationwide.
• Price loads using agreed upon formulas based on commodity price indices.
• Crosscheck customer’s paperwork vs. material received for discrepancies.
• Price settlements according to purchase orders issued by buyers.
• Communicate effectively via email and phone.
• Ensure paperwork is received and reported for every load.
• Prepare month/quarter/year end reports as required by account.
• Use reporting from process facilities to handle purchase and sale of material.
• Contact vendors, accounts, and customers per task.

Qualifications:

• Ability to focus on desired results, company initiatives, and values.
• Adaptable to a very fast-paced environment and perform in a deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience working in a warehouse and/or office environment.
• Must be able to work independently and provide strong attention to detail.
• Microsoft Suite knowledge is a MUST.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Professional in appearance, spoken language, and written language
• Willingness to collaborate and work as a team – including cross training
