If so, Ventura Law, an established and growing law firm (founded in 1957), is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive litigation paralegal to support our Personal Injury practice in our Danbury, CT office. The ideal personal injury litigation paralegal brings deep experience in litigation, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and excels at anticipating needs, following procedures, and identifying solutions before problems arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys on plaintiff personal injury litigation cases.
  • Handle case management from intake through trial, including e-filing, file organization, and client contact.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to stay current on treatment status and issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses in compliance with CT Practice Book.
  • Obtain, organize, and review medical records and other relevant documentation.
  • Prepare cases for ADR, pre-trial hearings, and trials; attend and assist at required meetings or proceedings.
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates with precision.
  • Coordinate with medical providers and serve subpoenas.
  • Provide mentorship to junior legal staff as needed.
  • Perform general administrative support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal
  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury litigation in Connecticut.
  • Strong working knowledge of Connecticut court procedures and discovery compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Self-starter who can prioritize, multitask, and troubleshoot independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with NEOS.
