Job Summary
This full-time position is available in the Special Populations Department with the Ventura County Office of Education. Under the direction of the Director of Student Services, conduct a variety of specialized projects, activities, and operations to support foster youth educational services including, but not limited to, maintaining confidential student records and databases, assisting in coordinating communications with school districts, social workers, probation officers, and community partners, processing legal and educational documentation, tracking program services, and providing administrative support to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to foster youth.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: • Bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences, vocational education, public administration, business administration or related field, and experience working with foster youth and/or McKinney-Vento/homeless youth. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid California Driver’s License.
