Requirements of the Director of Human Resources

- 10 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership.
- Strong background in organizational development, employee relations, workplace culture.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and HR process management.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Experience with ESOP administration or employee ownership environments is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources
- Serve as the senior Human Resources leader for the organization, overseeing all HR strategies, programs, policies, and employee initiatives.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop organizational strategies around workforce planning, succession planning, retention, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
- Design, implement, and manage performance management programs, employee development initiatives, and leadership training programs.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance programs to ensure adherence to employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Manage organizational development initiatives focused on culture enhancement, employee engagement, retention, and change management.
- Support leadership in safety initiatives, employee wellness programs, and regulatory reporting.
- Administer HR systems, employee records, benefits reconciliations, and key HR operational processes.
- Support employee communications, company engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
