Job Title: Boot Technician
Job Summary:
E&R Towing is seeking a reliable and motivated Boot Technician to join our team. This position plays a key role in field operations and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify boot paperwork for accuracy
- Travel to assigned locations and confirm vehicles are ready for tow
- Remove boots from vehicles once a tow driver is on scene
- Work directly with the City of Chicago to ensure boots are removed within required system time frames
- Assist with abandoned vehicle cases: check paperwork, verify locations, and coordinate with dispatch for tow driver deployment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and city personnel
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Prior towing or field experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
