We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments accurately
- Upsell menu items such as wines, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness of tables and service areas
- Engage with guests to promote guest relations, handle inquiries, and resolve any concerns professionally
- Support other team members with bussing tables, setting up stations, or assisting in the kitchen as needed
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings including wine pairings, spirits, and daily specials
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle basic math calculations quickly
- Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques
- Prior experience in roles such as host/hostess or cashiering can be beneficial
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach to hospitality
