Duties
- Assist with food preparation, meal assembly, and plating to ensure timely service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cash handling
- Support banquet and catering events by setting up tables, serving guests, and managing event flow
- Deliver food and beverages to tables or designated areas efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety standards
- Provide excellent guest services by answering questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Support dietary needs by understanding food handling procedures and assisting with special dietary accommodations
Skills
- Prior experience in kitchen work, food preparation, or food service environments preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests professionally and courteously
- Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic culinary tasks including knife skills, meat cutting, or meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and positive phone etiquette
