Controls Commissioning Lead
Location: Reno, NV
Duration: 12 months contract
Schedule: 10/4
Primary Objective
Controls Subject Matter Expert responsible for BMS/EPMS/SCADA integration, IO validation, sequence verification, and alarm confirmation.
1.L1–L2 Controls Pre-Functional
a. Coordinate with Gray building MEP’s to ensure pathways are complete and ready for controls installation.
b. Verify the equipment (parts and smarts) and control panels installed match the submittals.
c. Validate point-to-point checks and IO mapping.
d. Confirm network integrity, BACnet/IP configuration, and fiber stability.
2. L3 Controls Readiness
a. Confirm alarm visibility, trending activation, and approved SOO implementation.
b. Verify system feedback from electrical and mechanical equipment.
c. Coordinate cross-discipline testing with Mechanical and Electrical Leads.
3. L4 Functional Testing
a. Support sequence validation, tuning, and alarm response testing.
b. Coordinate cross-discipline testing with Mechanical and Electrical Leads.
D. L5 Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
a. Support cross-system failure simulations.
b. Validate automation response and system recovery logic.
