Title: Facilities Maintenance Worker
Location: Miami Gardens, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 3 months Contract (possibility of extension)
End client - City of Miami Gardens
Shift - 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM EST (32 hours/week)
Job Description:
Ability to work with hand tools. Performs manual labor and other minor tasks. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment, tools, and various facilities.
Skills Required:
Ability to work with hand tools. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, up to 100 pounds, occasionally. This position requires that the employee work outdoors occasionally Moves and sets up furniture; prepares rooms for scheduled programs and activities.
Skills Preferred:
Ability to properly use equipment and materials related to general maintenance.
Ability to use proper cleaning agents or equipment to dust, sweep, and/or mop floors. Willing to assist with office cleaning, trash disposal, as needed.
Inspects mechanical equipment and makes minor repairs as necessary.
Experience Required:
Pressure washing, painting, and janitorial experience. Possess and maintain a valid Florida Drivers License at all times.

High School Diploma
