Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment across the property consisting of Hotel, Pool, Offices, Dock, Tiki Bar/Restaurant and grounds. This role requires a background in property Maintenance to include basic construction, electrical and plumbing skills, landscape management with the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance. The Maintenance Worker will ensure that all operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to safety standards and quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across property
- Maintain and upkeep exterior grounds
- Basic Break/Fix, plumbing, fixtures, drywall, framing, concrete, painting projects could be part of facilities maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- work with maintenance staff or contractors during projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as commercial or residential repair.
- Basic knowledge with experience in grounds maintenance, electric, plumbing, HVAC, and construction.
- Ability to perform residential painting and basic carpentry tasks is a plus.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are desirable for team coordination roles.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to general facilities maintenance.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring problem-solving skills.
