What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist position at VeeAR Projects Inc.?
Job Description:
1. Performs C/T examinations in accordance to established protocols.
2. Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations.
3. Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
4. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
5. Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
6. Reports to radiology supervisor all equipment failures and/or malfunctions.
7. Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to Q.A. policies.
8. Responsible for processing images, organizing paper work and completing charges.
9. Works in other areas of the department such as radiology, ultrasound, etc.
10. Organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety and the Department of Heath will be met or exceeded.
11. Takes call or stand-by when required.
12. Performs other duties as required
Certification: ARRT (CT)
Skills:
Some clerical and computer experience.
Interpersonal Skills: The facility is a set of value-based behaviors that are to be consistently demonstrated and role modeled by all employees that work at the facility.

Education & Experience: Two or more years of experience in general radiology, at least one year of C/T.
