Pre Press Production Technician - Reclaim

Vectors partner in Mentor, Ohio manufactures custom heat applied transfers that apply with a heat press to apparel and more. Their transfers are used by athletic apparel dealers, T-shirt retailers, and many other markets in the U.S. and Canada. They are looking for associates to join their Pre-Press Department!

2nd Shift - (M-F 2:00p-10:30p) $16.50/hr. $1.00 shift diff = $17.50/hr.

Reclaim Tech Summary:
The Reclaim Production Technician I will be responsible for preparing screens by stripping/cleaning used screens, placing them into screen washer, may need to apply coating to remove ink, and inspecting them for quality. The technician will ensure all screens meet production standards and are processed efficiently to support smooth workflow in the printing department.

Responsibilities:

• Clear screens of coating material and inspect for any holes, smudges, alignment issues, etc.
• Remove image, clean and prepare screens for re-use - this includes use of high-pressure power washers
• Prepare coating material and place on screens in preparation for imaging placement
• Adhere work order image to screen
• Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some experience in manufacturing
• Must have a valid Drivers License and transportation to work
