This position can be based out of the Girard office or the Spring Hill office.

- High school diploma required.
- 2 years construction experience with some supervisory experience.
- 5 years related industry experience with management and estimating responsibilities.
- MEP experience a plus.
- 100% travel and located at designated project site.
- Submit written reports, furnishing current status of jobs inspected or jobs with new phases ordered started each day.
- Verify % complete and assist in determining cost to complete for billing purposes.
- Submit copies of phase acceptance notices from Subcontractors.
- Prepare accurate job cost breakdowns.
- Attend and participate in Project Management meetings.
- Obtain and submit shipping documents for materials delivered to sites.
- Report disciplinary action required, safety violations, etc.
- Walk each job under their control, checking on schedule, quality of workmanship and materials and issuing the necessary written orders for correction of substandard work – This includes placement of signs, permits, etc. at project start.
- Review work in progress to make sure progress billing is prepared by Administration.
- Assist in gathering “bid” information.
- Clarify and answer questions from subcontractors.
- Coordinate the activities of all subcontractors.
- Maintain all construction schedules.
- Replacement of any subcontractor not performing to standard or lacking appropriate insurance coverage on assigned jobs.
- Ensure that subcontractors have current and accurate plans and specifications and that they work in accordance with them.
- To check all field reports submitted by staff for accuracy and completeness.
- To enforce all company policies, rules and regulations.
- To recognize when a Change Order (or additional work authorization) is necessary and appropriate; and ensure that the proper paperwork is completed and signed.
- To plan work maximizing efficiency of work force, materials and supplies ( two week planning horizon).
- Ensure that all government and company requirements relating to safety, health and environment are strictly adhered to and enforced.
- To direct the activities of all subordinates in achieving desired levels of performance in terms of work done within plan and quality.
- Responsible for the development, preparation, submission and tracking of all job bids assigned by Management.
- Responsible for completing evaluations on employee performance relative to assigned projects.
- Responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance with all government regulations relating to assigned construction projects.

- Attend Pre-Bid Meetings.
- Contact Subcontractors & Vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders for material purchases.
- Verify and approve time cards, material and subcontractor invoices for payment.
