A Jewelry Production Coordinator manages and oversees the production process of jewelry from design development to final delivery. This role ensures that production timelines, quality standards, and material requirements are met while coordinating between vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily jewelry production activities from orders in system to finished product
- Communicate with salesperson, internal team and suppliers to ensure accurate production execution
- Track production schedules, deadlines, and order progress
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of gemstones, metals and findings
- Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the production process
- Manage purchase orders, vendor communications, and material sourcing
- Maintain detailed production records, specifications, and technical documents
- Resolve production issues, delays, or quality concerns with vendors or workshops
- Assist with sample development, prototyping, and product testing
- Support logistics, shipping schedules, and product deliveries
- Assist with preparations for trade shows
- Attend trade shows to provide support to the sales team
