Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of complex monthly journal entries and conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
- Contribute significantly to the month-end and year-end closing cycles, performing in-depth analytical review of financial statements.
- Ensure all accounting records are maintained in accordance with US GAAP standards and assist in the annual external audit process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business Administration field.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in corporate General Ledger accounting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in variance analysis and financial reporting within a corporate setting.
- Experience working within or supporting the Oil and Gas industry is a must-have.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
