Position Overview
Title: Surgical Technician
Location: Saranac Lake, New York
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,066.67/week (Up to $51.67/hour)
Local (Up to $40.3/hour)
Shift: varying shift, Mon-Fri
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Candidate Type: Travel / Local both
Requirements:
- CST certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR/Surgical Tech experience
- Strong broad surgical experience preferred
- Vascular experience required (must be able to scrub vascular cases and take call)
- Orthopedic experience required
- Prior travel experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Function as a scrub person and provide technical support during surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
- Organize and handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Assist surgeons during orthopedic and other surgical procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team
