About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Medicine Therapist to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments, ensure patient safety, and support the Radiation Medicine Department with clinical excellence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients safely and accurately.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiation therapy equipment according to departmental protocols.
• Position patients correctly and ensure all safety measures are followed.
• Review and follow treatment plans developed by physicians and medical physicists.
• Calculate treatment times, verify dosages, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Must-Have Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education in Radiation Medicine or a related accredited program.
• Knowledge of department policies, radiation therapy procedures, and equipment setup (typically acquired through 3–6 months of on-the-job training).
• Strong analytical skills to determine proper equipment setup, calculate treatment length, and identify adverse patient reactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting.
• Certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiation Therapy (T).
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
