Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) – Hamilton, NY
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,506/week
Taxable Rate: $35/hour | OT: $52.50/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1,246, subject to eligibility
Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3 consecutive days)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide cardiopulmonary care and support patients with respiratory disorders in Hamilton, New York.
Responsibilities
- Assess and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol therapy and chest physiotherapy.
- Monitor patient responses and document treatment progress accurately.
- Maintain patient records and follow clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on respiratory treatments and care plans.
Requirements
- Current CRT and/or RRT credentials, as applicable to facility requirements.
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Successful completion of the required certification examination.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged standing or sitting and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
