Physical Therapist Assistant (Allied)

• Schedule: 05:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Shift: Days: Monday – Friday (No weekends or major holidays)
• On-Call: No

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $22.00/hr – $36.00/hr Benefits
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (2-year work commitment)
• Mileage Reimbursement: $0.67/mile
• Work cell phone and computer provided

Our home health program allows patients to recover in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by family and friends.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the on-site supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement exercises, physical therapy modalities, and functional training techniques to assist patient recovery.
• Document all treatment sessions and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist the Physical Therapist with delegated clinical tasks and therapy sessions.
• Actively participate in developing and implementing patient care and treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Successful completion of all required Physical Therapist Assistant internships.
• Current New York State PTA certification and registration.
• Ability to effectively interact with patients across various age groups.
• Current CPR certification.
