Pay Rate: $38–$52/hr
Annual Salary: $79,000 – $108,000
Sign-On Bonus Available
Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
About the Role
We are actively hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for the Emergency Department. The RN will provide immediate and compassionate patient care, assess emergency situations, support critical interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
Shift Timings
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and provide emergency nursing care to patients
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-pressure situations
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and aftercare
- Coordinate discharge planning with healthcare teams
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program (Preferred)
- Active Illinois RN License
- BLS & ACLS Certification (Required)
- PALS Certification (Preferred)
- 1–3 years of ER experience required
SANE Certification & on-call availability preferred
