Job Summary
MVHS Inc. is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The RN will provide care to adult patients with complex medical conditions, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory, sepsis, MI, DKA, COPD, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative cases.
Requirements
- Active NY RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU experience
- Travel experience must be documented on resume
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursys verification with active NY license and all RN licenses
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with address matching candidate demographics
- RTO must be provided at submission
Unit Details
- 64-bed IMCU with 15 designated Neuro beds
- Adult patients, ages 18
- Floating is required
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- Chronic ventilator patients are cared for with RT support
- Equipment includes temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
Overtime
Daily OT after 24 hours and weekly OT after 48 hours, based on applicable multiplier.
Local candidates welcome. Local rates apply to candidates residing less than 75 miles from the facility.
