Job Description
We are Seeking an experienced LPN/LVN for a 13-week contract in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The nurse will provide quality patient care in a skilled nursing environment with a patient population including Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Orthopedic, Dementia, and Memory Care residents. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the same building and using the PointClick Care EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Long-Term Care residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor and document patient conditions accurately.
- Utilize PointClick Care EMR for documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Float within the same building as needed.
- Adhere to facility policies and patient safety standards.
Must Have Skills
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience
- PointClick Care EMR experience
- Medication administration
- Patient assessment
- Documentation
- Ability to float within the facility
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required.
- Previous travel experience required.
