Job Summary (Java Developer Fairfax, VA)
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth project delivery.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team improvement initiatives.
- Utilize expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Work with RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
- Use tools like Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Requires 7 years of Java development experience.
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-day onsite role in a collaborative office environment in Fairfax, VA.
