Multi-Family Superintendent

We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated multi-family Drywall superintendent to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing the subcontractors to work within timeline to accomplish the schedule given, reviewing all specifications of the projects assigned to meet the requirements, manage to accomplish the budget. Candidates should have experience with project management and construction, as well as the ability to adhere to deadlines and budget restrictions.

Essential Functions:

• Monitor the builder schedule, forecast required manpower, track critical dates affecting the project completion to create solutions, document delays, additional jobs as repairs, and communicate updates as required.
• Coordinate daily subcontractors’ activities to ensure project is constructed with design, budget and schedule, safety and quality.
• Oversee builder schedule and manage activities to ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met.
• Run a quality plan and bumps in collaboration with the Builder. Proactively monitor possible risk that can affect the Drywall work, document and communicate, enforce subcontractors’ quality of work and cleanliness.
• Review construction documents such as drawings and submittals before constructions start and coordinate activities as required.
• Provide response to pre-punch and punch lists to ensure timely completion.
• Determine origin and responsibility of Drywall repairs and communicate to the builder as required for it completion.
• Provide technical assistance and direction to the builder as required by interpretation of drawings, planning, scheduling, etc. as required.
• Participate in the construction meetings and re-distribute schedule as required.
• Ensure stock and verify the suppliers stocked according with the POs requested.
• Build, strengthen and maintain relationships with internal organization and with builders, other supervisors of other trades and subcontractors/vendors
• Ensure our subcontractor payment in a timely manner.
• Ensure subcontractors accomplish minimal safety requirements.

Multi-Family Superintendent Requirements and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a multi-family superintendent preferred
• Drywall and Paint preferred
• Proficiency in Excel/Microsoft teams
• Reading drawing is a must
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Management skills, experience in team and project management
• Ability to work with and manage a large team of contractors and subcontractors seamlessly
• Organized, thorough work ethic
• Analytically, Critical thinker, problem-solver

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
