We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food production according to menu specifications, including techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and knife skills.
• Support the kitchen team in high-volume food preparation and meal assembly for various service styles, including catering and fine dining.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Assist with dishwashing duties, ensuring all utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools are properly cleaned and sanitized for continuous use.
• Help with menu planning and ingredient organization to streamline food service operations.
• Support the culinary team during peak hours by managing food handling tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all food safety management protocols and contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred.
• Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs and meal prep procedures.
• Proven skills in food preparation techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and general cooking are essential.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling is required.
• Experience with high-volume production settings or catering environments will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of menu planning and culinary operations in fine dining settings is desirable.
• Candidates should possess excellent knife skills, attention to detail in food presentation, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
