Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including appetizers and salads.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organized during and after shifts.
- Monitor cooking times to ensure all dishes are prepared to perfection.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or dietary department setting is a plus.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
