Varnum LLP seeks to hire an attorney to join the Real Estate Practice Team in our Naples, FL office.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in joining a growing office of a highly regarded Michigan-based law firm with a national client base. The firm will provide financial support to attorney candidates outside of Florida that are interested in taking the Florida bar and relocating to Southwest Florida.
We are seeking candidates with 5 years of significant experience in real estate law, with a demonstrated ability to lead transactions preferred. The successful candidate will have experience with the acquisition, sale, and financing of commercial real estate. The candidate should be proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions. The candidate will also have significant experience with condominiums and HOA related matters.
While a portable book of business is welcome, it is not necessary for this position. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated business development capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to manage client relationships. Successful candidates will possess excellent academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding customer/client service skills. Admission to the Florida bar is required. Candidates not licensed to practice in Florida must be willing to become admitted to the Florida bar. The firm will provide relocation support to candidates interested in moving to Southwest Florida and reimburse expenses related to bar admission.
