What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney position at Varnum LLP?
Varnum LLP is seeking an attorney to join the Litigation Practice Team in our Naples, FL office.
The ideal candidate will have 20 years of experience in business and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling trials, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings in a lead role. Strong skills in arguing motions, taking and defending depositions (including expert witnesses), participating in ADR procedures, and exceptional research and writing abilities are required. Experience with construction defect litigation is preferred.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proven business development success, including a substantial portable book of business. Candidates should have the ability to manage complex files, supervise client relationships, and lead commercial cases. A high level of responsiveness, excellent client service skills, and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
Admission to the Florida Bar is required, or candidates must be willing to seek admission. Relocation support is available for attorneys interested in moving to Southwest Florida, and the firm will reimburse expenses related to Florida Bar admission.
